Tucked in the leafy pocket of Barnes, London, sits one of Knight Frank Interiors’ most recent Dress for Sale projects, Lowther Road. The spacious property had been sitting on the market for over 3 months before being transformed by our talented team of designers. The beautiful 5-bedroom house which successfully sold after being dressed by our studio, is the ideal family home located just a 10-minute walk from the local station, school and amenities.

You took a beautiful house that was not dressed but finished to a beautiful standard and designed the interiors to an exceptional standard. The house had been on the market for a number of months previously to no success. Once the house was furnished it allowed us the opportunity to re-shoot the house and press ahead with some new marketing and advertising which in turn increased viewings and interest dramatically.

Featuring a spacious kitchen area, a centralised dining table, and comfortable seating area, the main space has been designed to welcome and entertain the family. As a main focal point of the room, our designers extended the use of the crittall doors and incorporated industrial elements into the space, including a bookcase and mirror. A Scandinavian aesthetic complimented the industrial feel through the use of natural finishes, seen on the rattan dining chairs.

The front reception room features a contemporary aesthetic. Whilst still continuing the neutral colour palette of the house, the designer incorporated a pop of colour through a blue velvet sofa, contrasting against the Setting Plaster wall paint by Farrow & Ball. The 3,808 sq ft property accommodates for all living spaces including a modern study, featuring a bespoke built in bookcase in Farrow & Ball’s Inchyra Blue juxtaposed again a mustard upholstered chair and lighter accessories, creating a pleasurable working from home environment.

The master bedroom suite is designed with a luxurious hotel appeal, with intricate brass detailing which compliments the bathroom fittings bringing the space together as one. Moving through the home, family is the obvious focus in the property, with the top floor showcasing a playful children’s room and spare bedroom.

The dressed property received the full asking price of £3.75M, 4 weeks after Knight Frank Interiors transformed the home.
